As predict the news was out yesterday. The story on the newspaper was like this:
The policemen suspect that this incident was cause by staring. It was gang attack on 2 brothers at about 2.50pm on 5th October'08, Sunday, nearby Swensens.
A gang of 10 youngsters not older than 20 years old wearing striking or hip colour clothes confront 2 brothers & the older brother's girlfriend outside Swensens. They confront the younger one as they say he was starring at them. The gang were pretty aggressive & scold in hokkien. The elder brother with glasses try to protect the his younger brother by standing in front of him. Explain to them that his brother didn't stare at them. They dun believe & then they left. The 3 of them still stay around to smoke. 5mins later the whole gang came back & start the quarrel again but this time even worst. Out of a sudden, 1 of them attack the older brother & hit his glasses off his face. Then the others take out the knives & attack the older brother. It seem that they are very familiar of using the knives. The younger brother want to protect his brother but no use. He had cuts on his hand, while the girlfriend was screaming in shock. Although the older brother was bleeding furiously, but the gang don't seem want to stop the attack. The younger brother carry his brother to escape. As the older brother was too weak to contiune to run deal to the injury, he collapse nearby Swensens.
Luckily for them, a manager Mr Hong who saw the quarrel earlier on, got the feeling that something bad might happened. He then quickly make a police report. When the policemen arrive, the gang fled & leave the victim laying on the ground. Both of them was send to the hospital & they injury was stable. But the older one need to stay in the hospital for further observation .
The policemen seal up the crime scene for nearly 3hrs for investigation. They found a fruit knife about 25cm among the grasses. The case was still under investigation & nobody was arrest.

这起纠众闹事事件前天下午2时50分在白沙浮商业城靠近双胜餐厅的地方发生。洪姓目击者告诉媒体，他看见13名青少年在餐厅外对峙，一方是10名青少年，另一方是一对兄弟和哥哥的女友。他听见那群青少年质问那个弟弟为何瞪着他们，而哥哥则为弟弟辩护。这批青少年随即离开，但在约5分钟后折返，向仍在现场抽烟的兄弟兴师问罪。洪姓男子预感一场打斗即将发生，立刻报警。但其中一人已挥拳攻击哥哥，其他人则亮出菜刀和水果刀加入。弟弟为保护哥哥也被砍伤。闹事的青年在警方赶到前早已鸟兽散。受伤的两兄弟被送入医院治疗，情况稳定，但哥哥须留院观察。
查案人员在现场起获一把25公分长水果刀。警方发言人说，受伤的两个男子分别为22岁和16岁，警方仍在追查闹事者下落，尚未有人被捕，调查在进行中。
感言：这时下的年轻人真是越来越狠了，动不动就出手伤人或砍人。到的问题出在那里？难到人命真的不值钱？我真的是愈来愈不了解他们的心态。你能了解吗？
