This story was send to me from JuJu. I find this story pretty meaningful so would like to share with everyone. Do take ur times to read it......
The story goes.......
There was this man who's girl friend left him with another guy, on the verge of despair, he decided to drown himself in the river. But he failed, a monk walk pass in his evening stroll and saved his life.
The benevolent monk asked the man, "Why are you seeking death?"
The man replied "I've just lost everything, my only love in life, why is she so cruel?"
The monk shook his head and took out a magical mirror, "Look into this mirror, and you will find the answer you are seeking"
The man looked into the mirror.......... The mirror shows a vague image....a lady was lying on the shore, waves swept onto her, again and again, and she was motionless. The image is now clearer, her clothes were torn, her back full of wounds... she's no longer with this world...
The dawn is breaking, a man walk past, saw the lady, he shook his head and walk off.
A 2nd man appeared, he saw the lady, he couldnt help to see her in such a sorry state. He carefully carry the lady onto the shore, and out of respect, he cover the lady with his shirt and walk off...
At last... a 3rd man walk past... he felt sorry for the lady, he dug a grave with his bare hands, and give her a proper burial.
Infront of the mirror, the young man raise his head and look at the monk.
The monk smiled, "Now you understand? The lady is your beloved girlfriend in her past life."
The young man still looking confused, "So what has it got to do with me?"
The monk still looking calm, looking into his eyes, "You see, affinity is a bond beyond lifetime, everyone you meet in your life, comes with a reason."
The monk continues,"You are the 2nd man who helped the lady, she's here to repay your kindness. However, there's a even more important person in her life, that she is in debt with.. And that is the man who bury her... Do you see the link now? Be contented with what you have and what you received. For it is not the end, it is only the beginning of your journey, that one day you will meet the one who has the greatest affinity with you."
"There are 3 types of people you will meet in your life.... The ones who love you, the ones whom you love, and the ones who will be with you till the end of your journey."
